2018 MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS ARE DUE! There are multiple membership levels. This includes 50% discount on membership fees to students, retirees, and colleagues in developing countries. Membership includes a subscription to Tree-Ring Research, conference information, and conference discounts. Members vote on the locations of the Ameridendro and WorldDendro conferences. Your membership makes the Ameridendro and WorldDendro conferences and publication of Tree-Ring Research possible.
Our journal Tree-Ring Research is in digital-only format. Members have full password access to all articles. Please visit the journal pages and consider submitting your tree-ring related papers. We offer authors an open-access option, with a reduced price for members. There are no page charges for short papers.
High resolution versions of past issues of Tree-Ring Bulletin and Tree-Ring Research from Volume 1 (1934-35) to Volume 62 (2006) are available from the University of Arizona. (We are working on getting later volumes online.)
Announcing the winner of the Florence Ellis Hawley Diversity Award! This award recognizes an early-career scientist's accomplishments in dendrochronology with travel support to Bhutan for WorldDendro 2018 and giving a named lecture at the meeting. We are still seeking donations to support this award.
TRACE 2018 – Tree rings in Archaeology, Climatology and Ecology, 24 to 27 April, 2018, Greifswald, GermanyDendro Intensive Summer Courses (DISC) at the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research at the University of Arizona, Tucson Arizona, USA, 14 May to 1 June 2018. Three two-week long intensive courses in the topic areas of dendroarchaeology, dendroecology and dendroclimatology will be offered.
2018 WorldDendro Conference will be held in Thimphu, Bhutan 2 to 22 June, 2018. REGISTRATION IS OPEN! The pre-conference Fieldweek is 3 to 8 June; weekend workshops on 9 June, and the conference from 10-15. Following the conference there will be week-long post-conference excursions.

28th Annual North American Dendroecological Fieldweek (NADEF) will be held at the A.L. Mickelson Field Station near Cody, Wyoming, USA. The fieldweek will run July 21-30, 2018
